Samsung’s Galaxy Book lineup is now available to buy in the U.S.

Galaxy Book Flex

Samsung has announced that its new Galaxy Book lineup is available starting today in the United States. The lineup includes the Galaxy Book Flex and Galaxy Book Ion, first introduced towards the end of last year, as well as the Galaxy Book Flex α that was announced ahead of this year’s CES.

The highest-end member of the family is the Galaxy Book Flex. It’s a convertible with a 360-degree hinge, a Full HD QLED display that supports the S Pen – which is included with the laptop – and an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, which means it has Iris Plus graphics. It starts at $1,349 for the 13.3-inch model, and $1,399 for the 15.6-inch model, which also has more RAM (12GB instead of 8GB). As of the time of writing, the 13.3-inch model is discounted to $899.99, though.

The Galaxy Book Flex α is a cheaper convertible, which also has a 13.3-inch Full HD QLED display, but comes with Intel Comet Lake processors instead. The base model has an Intel Core i5-10210U, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD, and it starts at $849.99, but it’s discounted to just $399.99 as of the time of writing. A model with a Core i7-10510U, 12GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD costs $999.99, but it’s also discounted to $549.99.

Finally, the Galaxy Book Ion is a more traditional laptop form factor, but keeps the QLED display. It has an Intel Core i7-10510U processor, a 512GB SSD, and up to 12GB of RAM. The 13.3-inch model has just 8GB of RAM and starts at $1,199 officially, though it’s currently discounted to $749.99. The 15.6-inch model is $100 more (and it’s also discounted), but it includes the 12GB of RAM in addition to the bigger screen.

The lineup is available today on Samsung’s website from the links above.
