- Resolved an issue where AppLocker was blocking certain known DLLs.
Announcements
- Root Certificate Update: Certificates validating to certain Entrust root certificates will not be trusted by default if issued after April 16, 2025. Enterprises should update affected certificates or manually override this change.
- Microsoft Search in Edge Address Bar: Starting March 31, 2025, work-related searches in Edge for Business will direct users to M365.cloud.microsoft instead of Bing.com.
- Work Feed on New Tab Page: The Work Feed experience in Edge will be revamped in mid-April 2025, focusing on productivity and Microsoft 365 content while removing network activity insights.
Feature Updates
- Feature Usage Data Sync: Edge Sync now includes a category for synchronizing feature usage data.
- Trending Suggestions: Microsoft Bing trending suggestions will appear in the address bar on the New Tab Page.
- Authorized Group Setting: Edge now enforces compliance settings for printer, USB, and network share groups, preventing DLP bypasses.
Policy Updates
- New Policies: Introduced policies for enabling trending suggestions, customizing new tab page logos, managing Blob URL partitioning, configuring web content filtering, and handling WebRTC IPs.
- Deprecated Policies: The policy enabling Microsoft Search in Bing suggestions in the address bar is now deprecated.
- Obsoleted Policies: The policy for configuring related matches in “Find on Page” is obsolete.
