The 9800X3D is rated as one of the best gaming processors around…he got a screaming 5090 GPU, all top notch components….so why does my i5-13600K build beat his in Cinebench R23?

Could it be that it’s been about 2 1/2 years since I ran the Cinebench R23 test on mine, and there might have been some changes in the testing? They’re both R23…not the newer 2024 test.
