I would despair any belief in a caring God if the Nobel Prize committee awarded the Peace Prize to Donald J Trump. Despicable Sumbitch hasn’t created any “peace” in my heart, and likely none in the hearts of others — whether in Portland, Chicago, DC, LA or any civilized sane part of the Republic.
But the Nobel Committee has spoken, selecting a very worthy and appropriate candidate: Maria Corina Machado:
