I spent a few hours today testing Leap in a VM.
I’m doubting now it will work for your use.
I couldn’t get corectrl, LACT or coolercontrol to work because they are made for tumbleweed and many Leap packages are too old now.
coolercontrol even has an “foolproof” appimage but when I tried to run it, nothing happens…
going to try out openmandriva next. it has a LTS build with KDE.
it’s a shame neither of these distros, which use RPM packages, are compatible with Fedora RPMs.
