Located in the California Bay Area.
Looking for bike recommendations. Something sturdy but basic mostly for biking on streets down to the corner store, some light trail riding, etc.
Our area has some minor elevation changes but no need to bike up 10% grades or anything, but not flat either and calls for something a bit more than a single gear, but that’s about it.
No electric assist or crazy 24 gear system required.
Looking for something new for the wife, who doesn’t have a bike. Kids and I are all riding second hand free/hand-me-down bikes so unfortunately I don’t really have much bike shopping or quality experience.
