Flamethrower drones would be the end of human soldiers in combat, right?

Ukrainian forces have already developed a fragmenting round for ak type rifles. the round separates into 6 or 7 pieces (possibly radially ie orange slices) and works well at ranges far enough to give you some reaction time/margin of error. they have already ruled out shotguns as they dont have the impact at range to take out the small drones in real world usage. generally beats the 2 or 3 00buck shot in a vinyl shrinkwrap sleeve improvised ak round the russian soldiers came up with.

flame throwers are generally not worth the trouble. you need a pressurized tank (ton of weight) a fuel tank (even more weight) and an ignition system. the ww2 ones were generally the first target to get focus fired on with the attendant explosion when the pressure tank was hit.

the baba yaga could potentially carry the weight of a pressure tank, but it would be slow and vulnerable.
