As a fan of the game, though not FIFA, this is a legitimate concern for any player and fan who wants to attend in the US, there is no reasonable expectation of safety for any of them at this point, and not from the American public, but the literal American administration. I hope it starts to come up – and not to fuck with America – but for the actual safety of all those millions of people who want to come here, and for the players and team staff who ‘have’ to come here.
