How do you deal with the disconnect of realities under fascism?

As a good and decent person of course, if you have a moral soul. So this question is not for any Republicans.

So obviously the last year has been nuts. And while so so many evil events are happening all over the country and world as a result of the fascists pieces of shit in charge of America. How many sort of dissociative moments do you have when you realize you are just safely picking out produce at Whole Foods, and someone is getting beaten by SS Gestapo. Or now watching playoff football, cooking up some wings, all cozy and safe, while a man’s family and friends are shocked grieving due to a cold blooded murder by the state, of a fellow American? It feels kind of icky. Surreal. Disconnected. Atrocities are happening to people in your state because of this administration – I know ICE is kidnapping and abusing people in NJ, just not of the amount the poor people of Minneapolis are getting, but still terrible.

TWo complete combative existences at once and it’s very disconcerting, troublesome, and straight up fucked up. It’s just unreal and I hate it.

Always start with passive, Safe Resistance: big peaceful protest. Bring families, grannies, etc… Give little girls signs that say. “Go Home ICE NAZI. Yes you are the bad guys.”

The thing that almost everyone, everywhere can do:

Create a MASSIVE Austerity/Economic protest/strike.

Oligarchs backed Trump, in their Greed to get even richer, Trump and his cronies profit from the Chaos.

Starve the Oligarchs with an Austerity Protest. Everyone can join an austerity protest, people in other countries can Join an Austerity protest, the masked thugs can’t (yet) come to your house and force you to Subscribe to Netflix, or Amazon Prime.

Abandon Facebook, xTwitter, TikTok, and especially the AI nonsense like ChatGPT/Grok… Adblock,script block where you can’t abandon. Cancel your Prime membership (Avoid Amazon if you can, and buy local for your NEEDs), your netflix, etc. When you cancel, if they ask for a reason: Fascism in the USA.

Refuse to consume anything you don’t need, refuse sell you soul to the souls machine with your views, don’t go to American movies, and definitely don’t buy a Fucking Tesla Swasticar.

Undermine the economy of excess, but refusing to partake in the excess. Dump stocks in the Oligarch – probably a good idea anyway if riding the AI bubble. Dump USD assets where you can. Especially any government bonds.

For everyone inside and outside America who feels powerless. This is something everyone can do. This administration blinks at every market gyration.

ICE is expensive. Resist being the consumer that feeds this horrendous machine. Give Fascism an Economic cost.
