Trying to argue my way out of this. Telling myself that its just metal with no intrinsic function. Get something else.Just looking at my stuff and realizing nothing is broken, everything is in working order. Upgrading my things right now isnt going to give me any consequential benefits.I am well fed and in no immediate danger atm. Been trying to rationalize getting a better gaming mouse but am failing that. Decorating my space doesnt make sense if theres nobody to impress. Rare metal doesn’t take up that much physical space. Been trying tell myself that its not worth it because I won’t be able to acquire a lot of it early. I just dont see any alternative paths at this point. I think something tangible like fine silver will give me psychological benefits and a sense of security. Something physical I won’t be able to use in the practical sense but won’t regret having, even at small quantity.
