With the ever expanding depolyment of satellites over earth something has to give. Musks Starlinks already has 9000+ sats in LEO (low earth orbit) and has already faced criticism for hogging space and near misses vs other countries sats (incl China who complained to the UN over this).
How is this going to unfold in future as more space is about to be utilized for large projects possibly requiring 1000s more sats over the years, incl synced constellations of them for AI data centers?
Is it technically possible for these multi $ trillion companies to achieve this? And who has more right over the usage of space and whose priorities matter more over the other? Science vs business vs communications vs military vs superpowers who may disregard other countries needs, etc?
