Would love to hear your real-life encounters with MAGAts. These people really cause a great deal of concern with how utterly stupid they are or how uninformed they are.
I’ve had two recent encounters;
I often wear T-shirts that are political in nature. The other day I was wearing one that has RESIST in block letters on the front. Coming out of a store, some guy says, “Resist what?” and I just said, “Putin’s little bitch, Trump.” I am sure he expected to devastate me with his response of “Oh, so you’re woke.”
My response was, “Yes, thank you, as I am not a racist, misogynist, bigoted pig,” and I kept walking. Hope he has figured it out by now.
The second one was just how obviously uninformed they are. Talking to a guy in a brewery, and I said something about Trump saying he was going to continue Iran just for fun. He was very adamant that was just AI fake news. I suggested he do a little research and see how many news organizations have reported on Trump’s “fun” comment. I doubt he will, but just maybe, but if he does, he will find ABC, PBS, Newsweek, The Independent, Time, BBC, The Mirror, AP News, CBS, CNN, NBC, The NY Times, etc.
