It feels divisive because it’s kind of dumb. It draws ever more attention to the problem that AMD knows they need to solve here – memory bandwidth – and then doesn’t solve it. So there’s this sweet spot in the product where it might be good – but if you’re below it, then the X3D1 is faster due to the higher clock, and if you’re above it, then the X3D1 is faster due to the higher clock.
