I was able to pay off my cards, all 8 of them and closed out one that had an annual fee and was just kinda crappy anyways. Almost all of them have decent credit limits (around $5k -$10k each) and I’m not going to be using them except for things like subscription services (NF, HBO, Apple etc.). I’ll keep them on autopay, but I’ve read somewhere on Reddit (r/povertyfinance or r/credit?) that instead of paying them on the due date, to pay them a few days before the statement date or something like that? I’ve taken all but 1 of my cards out of my wallet for emergencies, and unlinked my cards on shopping sites so I’m not tempted to order crap lol. Anything else you guys recommend to help me stay out of cc debt but still keeping my cards and limits up?
