So, I need to figure out why my MSI gtx 1660 Ti 6GB 2 fan (circa 2019) is faster than my Pro Art ASUS rtx 4060 Ti 16GB 3 fan (circa 2023) which is faster than my relatively new ASUS rtx 5080 Prime 16 GB 3 fan (circa 2025)? Yes, the 1660 is faster than the 5080! And I have swapped them in and out to make sure I’m not crazy! I mainly play racing games! drivers pass me up and pull away from me no problem with the 5080! the 4060 is faster, and I best my own times, keep up with and sometimes pass and even win with the 1660. If it weren’t for the better results I would say it’s in muy head…but it’s not! Why is this?
